The pitch for firing your agency was never "AI is cheaper than people." Cheaper-but-worse is a bad trade, and most store owners know it. The actual pitch is narrower and, we think, more honest: your own WooCommerce data was always the better creative brief — no agency ever had access to it.
The retainer problem
A typical agency retainer buys you a handful of hours a month from people who are also running six other accounts. They know your industry. They don't know your store. They're working from a monthly export, a screen-share, and whatever you remembered to mention on the last call — not from the actual order history, actual product catalog, and actual customer segments sitting in your own WooCommerce database.
That gap shows up everywhere: generic copy that could belong to any store in your category, campaign ideas that ignore what's actually selling this month, and reporting that arrives three weeks after the spend already happened.
What actually changed
Two things made a different approach possible. First, language models got good enough to write ad copy, email subject lines, and campaign plans that are actually usable — not filler that needs a full rewrite. Second, and less talked about: those models can now be handed *your* real data — real products, real prices, real order history, real segment definitions — instead of a vague brief typed into a chat box.
Put those together and the agency's core value proposition — a human translating your business into marketing language — stops being the only way to get there.
Why WordPress, not another dashboard
If you run WooCommerce, your product catalog, your order history, and your customer data already live in WP Admin. Every other marketing tool asks you to sync that data somewhere else, then manage a second login, a second UI, and a second source of truth that drifts out of date. Fire Your Agency runs where the data already is. No export, no sync job, no second tool to keep open in another tab.
What "AI marketing dashboard" means, specifically
Concretely, that means: Claude (Anthropic's model) generates ad copy and email content from your actual product data, with multiple variants per request instead of one best guess. Meta and Google campaigns get created and managed from the same screen. Every order gets checked for UTM attribution at checkout, so channel performance is measured from real orders, not estimated. And every AI generation is logged — prompt, output, and where it was pushed — so nothing is a black box.
None of that replaces judgment. It replaces the parts of the job that were always mechanical: assembling the brief, writing the first draft, pulling the numbers together. The judgment calls — brand voice, what to test next, when to scale a winner — stay with you, which is where they should be.
Where we're headed
We publish what's actually in progress, not a wishlist, on the Roadmap. If there's a channel or workflow you need that isn't there yet, tell us — that's the fastest way it gets built.
