Fire Your Agency ("FYA," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Famcom Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our WordPress/WooCommerce plugin, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account & Registration Information
When you sign up for FYA, we collect information such as your name, email address, business name, billing address, and payment details (processed by our third-party payment processor — we do not store full payment card numbers).
1.2 Store & Site Data
To provide marketing automation, FYA connects to your WordPress/WooCommerce store and may access data including:
- Product catalog, pricing, and inventory information
- Order and customer data (e.g., purchase history, email addresses) needed to power campaigns
- Site configuration data required for plugin functionality
1.3 Third-Party Platform Data
FYA integrates with advertising and marketing platforms — including Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, and SendGrid — via authorized API connections. When you connect these accounts, we access and process data such as ad account performance, audience data, campaign metrics, and email/SMS engagement data, solely to deliver the Service's automation features. We access only what is needed to operate the integrations you enable, and you may disconnect any integration at any time.
1.4 AI Processing Data
FYA uses AI models to generate marketing copy, campaign recommendations, automation decisions, and images. Text generation uses Anthropic (Claude); image generation uses Google (Gemini) and OpenAI. Store, product, and campaign data may be transmitted to our relay service and on to these providers to generate these outputs. We do not permit third-party AI providers to use your data to train their models outside the scope of providing the Service to us. In the free version of the plugin distributed through WordPress.org, nothing is transmitted to our relay service until the site owner chooses to connect their account; until then AI generation is switched off. The free version's dashboard summary sends aggregate store figures (revenue, order and customer counts, revenue by channel, top products) and, if you connected Meta or Google, campaign names, spend and results — never customer names, emails or addresses. Meta and Google connections in the free version are read-only.
1.5 Usage & Technical Data
We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including log data, device/browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and feature usage, typically via cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Generate and execute marketing campaigns and automation on your behalf
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
- Monitor and analyze usage to improve the Service
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With third-party integration partners (Meta, Google, Klaviyo, SendGrid) as necessary to execute the campaigns and automations you configure
- With service providers who perform functions on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, AI processing, analytics), under contractual confidentiality obligations
- For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Famcom Labs, Inc., our users, or others
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure credential storage for connected API tokens — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Upon account termination, we will delete or anonymize your data within 14 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; residents of the EEA/UK have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.
The plugin also sets a first-party cookie (waim_sid, 30 days) and a browser localStorage entry (waim_utms) for visitors to your store who arrive through a link containing UTM parameters, so that a later order can be attributed to the campaign that brought them. It holds a random session identifier, the UTM values, and the page address, which are stored in your own site's database. As the store owner, you are responsible for disclosing this in your own privacy policy and for obtaining consent where the law requires it.
8. International Data Transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice as appropriate.
